Today, in a new poll released by Rasmussen Reports, Republican candidates lead Mary Landrieu 49 percent to 40 percent, while 11 percent remain undecided.
“When you vote with President Obama almost 100 percent of the time, you only get 40 percent of Louisiana’s vote,” said LAGOP Spokesman Ryan Cross. “The more voters learn about Mary Landrieu’s liberal record, the more they don’t like it. Her poll numbers are hemorrhaging, and her credibility crisis is getting a lot worse. No amount of Harry Reid’s out-of-state PAC money can save Mary’s political career now.”
According to Rasmussen Reports, the survey of 500 likely voters in Louisiana was conducted on January 28-29, 2014 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
