Republican Activist Files Ethics Complaint Against Sen. Landrieu

ETHICS COMPLAINT FILED ABOUT STAGED LANDRIEU AD

Yesterday a federal ethics complaint was filed by Ursula Anderson of Lafayette against Senator Mary Landrieu and her unpaid use of the Louisiana state Capitol to film her ads.

We share Ms. Anderson's concerns about the ethical questions raised by Senator Landrieu using the state capitol as the set for her last two commercials. Senator Landrieu's tactics - faking committee hearings, donating huge sums of money to anti-energy Senators whose positions she claims to oppose, and uncompensated use of government buildings for partisan political purposes - are not the kind of leadership Louisianans expect of an elected official.
