Gena Gore has been elected as President of the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women.
Gena was chosen at the 2015 LFRW Convention that was held in her hometown, Alexandria, this past weekend. She succeeds June Williams, who has served with distinction for the past four years.
Prior to the convention, Mrs. Gore was the LFRW's Executive Vice President and traveled extensively across the state supporting local chapters. She has served for eight years on the LFRW Executive Committee, and has experience at all levels within the organization. Gore is a member of the Republican State Central Committee and serves as the LFRW Representative on the LAGOP Executive Committee.
"We are proud to have Gena Gore as the new President of the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women," LAGOP Chairman Roger Villere said. "Gena is well known for her ability to work in a spirit of cooperation with all Republicans. She will continue to be a force for party unity and excellence as she works across Louisiana."
In addition to her volunteer roles in Louisiana, Gore serves as Chairman of the Women in Business committee for the National Federation of Republican Women
