#GruberGate Another Reminder Landrieu Lied About ObamaCare

Landrieu Promised Louisianans Twice During The 2009 ObamaCare Debate If You Like You Plan You Can Keep It:

"While those individuals who like the coverage they already have, will be able to keep their current plan. This is a very accurate description of this bill.”

“He told people […] if you like the insurance that you have, you'll be able to keep it.”

During the tense 2009 ObamaCare debate, Sen. Mary Landrieu (D., La.) assured Louisianans on two separate occasions "if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it” before casting a deciding vote passing the bill. After millions of cancellation notices were sent out to consumers in 2013, Politifact rated Landrieu and Obama’s promise the 2013 “Lie of The Year.”

After Landrieu and Obama’s “Keep Your Plan” Promise Was Exposed As a Lie, Landrieu Said She Had ‘No Regrets’:

WOLF BLITZER: […] Any regrets?

MARY LANDRIEU: “No Wolf, because I meant it when I said it.”

Even after millions of cancellation notices were sent out to consumers across Louisiana and America, Landrieu maintained she had “no regrets” and pled ignorance in a Nov. 13, 2013 interview on CNN.

White House Obamacare advisor Jonathan Gruber recently said ObamaCare’s lack of transparency was a “huge political advantage” and contributed to the bill’s passage

GRUBER: "Lack of transparency [in Obamacare] is a huge political advantage.”

Recently revealed comments from White House ObamaCare consultant Jonathan Gruber show the Obama administration crafted the Affordable Care Act in such a way the true mandates and taxes were deliberately hidden from voters. Gruber said the lack of transparency and the “stupidity of the American voter” were key to securing ObamaCare’s passage.

Given the Obama administration deliberately hid the truth from the public, does Mary Landrieu really expect voters to believe as a senior member of President Obama’s Democrat leadership she was not aware of these “hidden” provisions?

Gruber: "Cadillac insurance" tax passed because voters were “too stupid” to understand it was actually a tax on their insurance

President Obama said he has “stolen ideas" “liberally" from Jonathan Gruber
